TotalSoft and ASCENTA, the IT consulting business unit of the Softwin Group, will implement a complex integrated information system (ERP) at the National Administration of Forests – Romsilva, by the end of this year. The aim of the solution is to implement a custom-made system for ROMSILVA, in order to collect and manage forestry information, the administrative, financial and accounting processes, to manage documents and even more, ensuring access of all stakeholders, on the purpose of obtaining an efficient company management.

By means of its components, this project will help the employees of all forestry units ensure the inventory of the forestry land value by categories and well-defined codes, resulting in reducing and removing losses. The aim is to improve the accessibility of the forestry land value according to forestry methods and modern technologies, by complying with the environmental protection standards.

An important component of the information solution is the web portal designed for all the electronic auctions initiated by the National Administration of Forests – ROMSILVA. Real time information will be provided in relation to the changes, the development and the result of auctions, having a major impact on increasing transparency of public auctions.

With the purpose of using this system at its maximum yield, the contract includes also training for over 240 Romsilva employees from all over the country, which will be carried out in several directions (system administration, help-desk personnel, personnel in forestry units and end-users).
The system, which is worth around EUR 1,000,000 and will allow The National Administration of Forests – Romsilva managing activities in a single database, providing access to 500 concurrent users and to more than 1,000 users of the web portal.
