ALISON Becomes Microsoft Certified Partner

ALISON Slovakia has reached the Microsoft Certified Partner status. It comes as the result of a unified initiative of Microsoft and the Swedish concern Ericsson in the area of Unified Communication solutions. The two companies will cooperate on development of a new concept for corporate information-communication systems (ICS). The mutual product portfolio will represent an integrated ICS solution consisting primarily of solutions from Ericsson (IP PBX, EEMG, IP Dect, Netwise) and Microsoft (Server 2008, Exchange 2007, Office Communication Server 2007), with Alison bringing in the added value in the form of its integration experience.

“This will enable companies to utilise their fixed and mobile network system resources more effectively, with the goal of converging them into a unified communication environment, moreover, with an emphasis on reducing the operation costs. We intend to offer advantages of the Ericsson-Microsoft partnership also to our customers,” said Peter Labis, Sales And Marketing Director, Alison Slovakia.

Thanks to the unified solution, our customers will be able to use mobile devices within a unified corporate communication network. Along with functions such as one phone number, searching in unified address book, conference calls, diverting calls, re-calls or video-calls, customers will also see the presence status of other users, share documents, use the click-to-dial function, and other services – regardless of whether they will be using mobile phones, smart-phones, dual mobile/WiFi devices, or notebooks.
