Altoros Hosted MS Certified Professional Club Meeting On Cloud Infrastructure and Products

Altoros hosted and took part in the local Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Club meeting devoted to the latest cloud solutions. Vitaliy Tatarchenko and Vadim Truksha, the active members of the club and representatives of the Altoros IT Infrastructure Department, demonstrated the possibilities for building an extensive cloud infrastructure, recollecting their practical experience.

First, Vitaliy Tatarchenko dwelled on managing private clouds, data processing centers, and gave some examples of real-life tasks and issues that have been successfully solved for the customers.
After that, Vadim Truksha touched upon the technical side and reported about OpenStack, an open source cloud platform for building private clouds. This platform provides for running powerful services on standard hardware. The world IT leaders, such as Cisco, Dell, AMD, Intel, HP, and many others have joined the OpenStack project and are actively working on its development.

The MCP Club comprises recognized IT experts with rich experience acquired in challenging projects and profound knowledge proved by international certificates. The members of the club meet once a month to discuss the latest technologies and trends or share some unusual solutions they have applied. For developers, the club is not only the place to get new knowledge, but a stage where they can practice presentation skills and a possibility to get feedback from  professionals. The successful reporters who cover topical subjects present their ideas and discoveries at the international conferences and meetups.

The MCP Club meeting held at Altoros revealed the deep audience’s interest to cloud solutions. The participants showed high activity during the questions and answers session and initiated a live discussion to get more practical recommendations for their projects.
