Asseco Central Europe strengthens its position in the field of ERP solutions development in Europe.It became the 100% owner of German company Asseco Solutions AG, a recognized expert on the ERP market in German speaking countries.

Along with the German company, two homonymous Asseco Solutions subsidiaries operating in Austria and Switzerland, passes into the ownership structure of Asseco CE.These combined forces represent a huge potential for joint development in the ERP area across Asseco Central Europe, as well as across global Asseco Group, of which Asseco CE is a part of.

Asseco Solutions currently operates in five countries – in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Slovak and Czech part of the company belong under the Asseco Central Europe wings since 2009. Target markets of these countries differ, in some cases greatly, and therefore Asseco Central Europe has worked since summer of last year on Asseco Solutions ERP strategy harmonization. A big advantage is proximity to local markets, making it possible to better adopt the product portfolio to specific requirements of individual sectors and countries and offer even better services at the professional level.

It is also possible to introduce selected proven local solutions into commercial offer in other countries in the longer term. “Our aim is to utilize synergic effects resulting from merging. Cross-border collaboration – particularly in implementing new trends – can shorten development cycles and allow innovative concepts to be turned into reality more quickly. Moreover, it creates a solid foundation for preparing and making strategic acquisitions in the future,” said Jozef Klein, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asseco Central Europe.
