Baltic Data Center to Design Systems Based on HP Solutions

Baltic Data Center, a leader in data centre and information systems management in the Baltic States, has become a golden partner of the world largest technologies company Hewlett-Packard (HP). Baltic Data Center has acquired a Computing Systems Specialist specialisation, therefore it will be able to provide the customers not only with HP solution-based system installation services, but also system development and designing services.

HP grants a Golden Membership status only for companies, whose specialists have successfully completed the training program and have proven competent to install the latest server, data protection and network equipment technologies. Six specialists of Baltic Data Center have completed special courses: product consultants, sales and integration specialists as well as engineers.

According to Saulius Markūnas, Director of Baltic Data Center, a company belonging to TEO Group, the company intends to make further investments in worker training and to increase the number of experts of HP solutions.

Tadas Goberis, Hewlett-Packard Sales Director in Lithuania, stated that there are only several companies in our country with a long lasting experience in HP solutions installation. “We congratulate Baltic Data Center on having become one of few companies with a Golden Membership status, and having proven its competence in the sphere of data centers, data protection and network equipment solutions development”, T. Goberis said.

Baltic Data Center and world largest server producer HP have been cooperating for over a decade. This cooperation has resulted in one of the most ambitious project in Eastern Europe – the establishment of Vilnius underground data center, which is protected against electromagnetic pulses. A part of this centre is used for IT infrastructure management of a financial group, thus providing homogenous services to customers in Denmark, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Baltic Data Center has been also successfully cooperating with other world leading technology developers. The company has been awarded a status of a close partner from the following companies: Cisco, EMC, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and VMware.
