Ciklum IT Jam 2009. 5th of December 2009. Kiev
Second yearly conference of Ukrainian software developers IT JAM 2009 (http://it-jam.ciklum.net) was postponed to 5th of December due to epidemic outbreak. The conference, as it was initially planned, will take place in Kiev, exhibition center “AKKO International’. The event is organized by Ciklum.
Ciklum has indicated that it is Company’s strategic goal for 2009 to promote SWD expertise niche in Ukraine.
The event has a new format this year: theme mini bar camps + panel discussion + party.
Main conference idea is peer-to-peer knowledge and experience exchange in the following spheres:
- Dynamic Programming Languages (Ruby on Rails, Python, Perl)
- Mobile Development (iPhone, Android, Blackberry)
- Agile (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
- RIA (Flash, Silverlight, Flex)
- CMS (Drupal, EPiServer, Joomla)
Following presentations, there will be panel discussion with top managers and owners of leading IT Companies. In the course of this discussion, participants can ask any questions, hear about dynamics of Ukrainian IT Industry development, learn about potential difficulties their companies and employees can face in short term future, as well as hear about practical ways to overcome the difficulties.
As the tradition has it, IT JAM will close with a party: informal communication with colleagues, music, beer, and great mood!
Because the conference was moved to a later date, corrections to schedule had to be made; in particular, new presentations were added. You can see and examine new schedule on IT JAM website.
