The Comarch ALTUM Premiere at CeBit

During this year’s CeBit in Hanover, Comarch presented its newest enterprise management system. The product will be known as Comarch ALTUM and will soon be sold in Germany, the United States and Ukraine as well as in Poland. The system is the result of a culmination of Comarch’s 15 years of experience as the largest Polish ERP system manufacturer and its years of presence in international markets.

- Thanks to the experience gained, we are offering not only a modern management system which applies the most advanced technologies, but most of all, a set of all the best business practices which we have observed and helped to perfect in over 50 thousand firms in Poland, Germany, the US and Ukraine. The premiere of our newest system is one of the most important elements of our international strategy and an opportunity for strengthening the positioning of Comarch as the largest Polish producer of ERP- says Zbigniew Rymarczyk, Vice-Chairman of Comarch, responsible for the ERP sector.

The system is intended for small and medium sized companies of the trade and services sector acting locally or being distributed in a network structure. The application has been designed while keeping in mind foreign markets and thus it is well adjusted to both to legal framework and interface ergonomics. The strengths of Comarch ALTUM include integrated workflow and business intelligence. The capacity to design any complicated, custom-made document flow generated by both the system and for example by e-mails or word-processing documents allows for ideal adjustment of the system to an enterprise’s business processes.

Advanced analysis of the data gathered in the system allows for making better decisions based on more accurate and quickly accessible data, thanks to its standard integrated and accessible business intelligence module. The system offers a modern interface, business process orientated architecture and is accessible to all system users utilizing business intelligence. It has everything required for the success of a large company’s program sector. What is even more surprising is that Comarch ALTUM is intended not for large firms, but for small and medium enterprises.

- I can’t see anything strange about it! – says Lukasz Wrobel, responsible for international ERP consulting at Comarch. At the end of the day, small and medium size companies have the same needs as the biggest global consortiums. The difference being, that the applied systems should naturally adjust to constantly growing requirements in the dynamic development of an enterprise. This is exactly the case for Comarch ALTUM, in the application of API among other things, allowing for system integration with any accessible application on the market.
