CROC and JDA Provide Supply Chain Management Solutions

CROC has concluded an agreement with JDA, The Supply Chain Company®, the world leading developer of customer-oriented supply chain management systems.

The collaboration will help CROC’s customers to more effectively manage product prices, assortment, promotions, transportation, logistics, merchandising, replenishment and store space—all thanks to JDA comprehensive supply chain solutions. For FMCG companies and retail chains, this is an opportunity to optimize the management of each link of their supply chain: create optimized plans of goods production, supply and merchandising based on customer demand as well as improve turnover, reduce reserve stocks and liberate frozen funds.

“According to Gartner analytical forecasts, Supply Chain Performance Management solutions are currently on the rise and will be mainstream within 5 to 10 years,” says Dmitry Tokar, Retail Sector Director, CROC. “Today, we see our customers becoming increasingly interested in such business applications. To some extent, this is related to their desire to optimize costs in the present unstable economic environment. Accurate forecasts expressed in a specific monetary value — for example, forecasts of expenses caused by overstocking or lack of stock — help to reduce costs.”

“Supply chain management is used around the world as an important tool for improving business profitability. Over 6,000 companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia use JDA solutions to streamline their production and logistics processes and links between them,” said Razat Gaurav, Senior Vice President EMEA, JDA Software. “Cooperation with CROC, one of the leading IT integration companies in Russia, will allow us to reach the next level of Russian market penetration. This is especially important for us because we recently opened a JDA Russian representative office in Moscow .”
