Unisys Stealth™ has been named the recipient of the 2014 American Business Award (ABA) People’s Choice competition as well as the Silver Award in the new security software category.

The ABAs, also known as the Stevie Awards, were created in 2002 to recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace and to recognize the positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.

Unisys Stealth beat out nine other finalists in public voting to win the ABA People’s Choice Award in its category.

Unisys Stealth uses advanced data protection and encryption technologies to help organizations mitigate cybersecurity attacks and hacker incidents by rendering devices, data and end users undetectable on the network. The solution establishes secure “communities” within an enterprise where only authorized users can access information.

Users outside those communities cannot access the information or even know that it exists.

said Jerry Glowka, vice president of emerging technologies at SynerSolutions Inc., a Stealth channel reseller.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, September 12, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.  More than 250 nominees and their guests attended for the presentation of new product awards, website awards, app awards and more.

Stealth was selected for the award from among 10 finalists in the security software category.

This award follows an announcement in May that Unisys Stealth was selected for the TechAmerica Foundation American Technology Award (ATA) in cybersecurity innovation. The ATAs recognize outstanding products that exemplify the “Best of” the United States technology sector.
