ELEKS Software exhibits at International Conference on Internet Technologies & Innovations

ELEKS, a global provider of software development and full-cycle localization services, recently exhibited at the  “Investor Day Central and Eastern Europe 2011” (IDCEE) – an international conference on internet technologies & innovations.  The conference was held on October 25-26, 2011 in Kyiv, Ukraine, and drew nearly 2,000 participants from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), the United States and Canada.

The annual technology conference focused on bringing together ideas and insights from leading experts and start-up entrepreneurs in the spheres of  internet technologies & innovations with expertise and experience from  investors and business-angels.  During the conference, not only did the selected start-ups from the CEE region pitch their projects and ideas to investors, but they also participated in the competition for start-ups. The most successful start-ups shared the prize pool of the conference in proportion 60%, 30%, 10%.  The conference organizers also provisioned for keynote speeches given by technology leaders and visionaries, as well as panel discussions on the health and growth of the IT industry as it related to Ukraine.

The “IT Ukraine Association” was also in attendance as an official sponsor of the conference, along with some of its largest members, one of which was ELEKS.  The key objective for the IT Ukraine Association being in attendance at this year’s conference was to promote its members services to the investment community and to state how attractive their members services were for businesses wanting to remain competitive on a global market.

As an active member with IT Ukraine Association and one of the largest providers of software services in Ukraine, ELEKS was not only asked to participate in the conference as an exhibitor, but its CEO, Alex Skrypnyk, was asked to be a panel speaker and share his views on the potential of Ukraine’s IT industry.

ELEKS was eager to take part as an exhibitor at this conference, not to seek funding from investors, but rather, to promote its services to investors who tyipcally fund startups around the world.  These same investors and investment firms often suggest that their clients seek the help of qualified software services providers as a way to keep costs low and to bring products to market more quickly.
