Software Mind SA won a prize in the Innovation of the Year 2009 contest for the Software Mind IPTV Solution system.
The contest is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Development and FIRE Innovation Centre.
Innovation of the Year is a nationwide program aimed at promoting the idea of innovativeness, modern and unique as well as original solutions and stimulating business to develop innovative technological ideas. Its task is also to penetrate the market, search and select innovative products and technologies, which, after evaluation, receive the Innovation of the Year certificate.
Software Mind IPTV Solution , is an integrated entertainment information system, allowing hotels to offer a unique portfolio of dedicated services for the most demanding customers, and thus, to gain additional profit.
The primary task of this solution is to equip a hotel room with a modern and user-friendly multimedia system. As part of the solution, high-quality TV (HD) and virtual video rental shop/video on demand service (VoD) are delivered to the guests. By applying the latest technology, it is possible to customise the solution to the image and needs of a hotel and at the same time take care of promotion and brand consistency.
