From more than 100 candidates, 15 computer science students have been selected to complete their summer internship at Fortech. The internship started in July and is still in progress until the end of September.

Generally, our internship programs last for 3 months, even though the number of hours required by the faculties is lower. During these months, the students are involved in software development and QA projects, as well as technical trainings on various technologies (Java, .NET, C++, PHP and Mobile) and OOP. Guided by a Fortech coach, each student essentially gets the chance to gain hands-on experience in actual projects, but also receives individual support by means of code reviews and feedback sessions. The students that best perform during the internship have the opportunity to continue work in a permanent position at Fortech.

What we want to emphasize is that, as of this summer, we have established a permanent internship program. This implies that we will continuously host students who aim to complement their theoretical knowledge with practice all throughout the year, not just as part of their compulsory curricula.
