On October 2, IBA participated in the workshop Intelligent Transportation and Logistics Systems that was conducted within the 6th Belarusian Congress of Transport and Logistics. Organized by Infopark and the Center of Identification Systems, the seminar was held in Minsk, Belarus.

Alexander Milay, Director of the IBA Integrated Enterprise Management Systems Engineering Department, delivered a presentation about the management of transportation and logistics centers (TLC) using electronic document interchange technology. In his presentation, Milay told about the IBA-developed automated system that enables TLC operators to control and manage trade flows and transport vehicles online.
Having implemented the system, IBA automated the work of Belarusian customs clearance points, transportation and logistics centers, and the central office of “Beltamozhservice”. The system allows for reduction of processing time and thus increases the efficiency by up to 35 percent.
In addition, Vladimir Basko, Infopark Director General, Vytautas Vitkauskas, INFOBALT President, and Victor Dravitsa, Director of the Center of Identification Systems delivered presentations on IT in transportation and logistics.
