IBA Expands Opportunities of BSU Students and Teachers

In April 2012, the training courses in IBM Cognos TM1 and IBM SPSS STATISTICS for BSU students and teachers started in the joint IBA-BSU IT Competence Center. Experts of the IBA Division of Business Applications conduct trainings twice a week.
Third- and fourth-year students of the Faculties of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Mechanics and Mathematics, and Economics were enrolled to the course on a competitive basis.

The students who will successfully complete the course will be invited to become IBA employees, and the BSU teachers will be able to conduct training in these disciplines.

IBM Certificates Handed to BSUIR Students

On April 5, the students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) who completed training in the IBM course Software Requirement Management with IBM Rational DOORS received the IBM certificates. The training was conducted at Academic Center of IBM Competences. The ceremony was held within the IBM Day 2012 in Minsk, Belarus.
Ivan Vroublevski, IBA HR Director, and Alexander Sorokin, IBM University Relations Manager Russia/CIS, handed over the certificates to seven BSUIR students; three of them have already become IBA employees.
