On November 5, IBA Bulgaria celebrated its first anniversary. Registered on November 5, 2017, IBA Bulgaria is located in Burgas, the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and the fourth largest city in Bulgaria. The opening of the new office was held on March 26, 2018.

The IBA Group’s development center in Bulgaria focuses on the development of mainframe applications. IBA Bulgaria applies the extensive expertise and experience that IBA Group earned in its 25-year history in the development, maintenance, and support of system and applied software on diverse mainframe platforms.

In the first year of operation, IBA Bulgaria relocated to a new office and added new members to its team. This year, IBA Group started cooperation with the Burgas Free University, signing a partnership agreement.

In June, IBA Bulgaria organized the course System Programming in Linux Using C, having started with a group of 20 students. Five of them were selected for an interview to join the IBA Bulgaria team. In addition, IBA Bulgaria provides tutoring and training for the best students of the university.

IBA Group is planning to establish and equip an IBA Group laboratory in the Burgas Free University in the near future.
