At the event, IBA IT Park presented the digital corridor concept that offers a highly efficient cooperation for transport companies and government bodies of customs control.

Digital Transport Corridor (DTC) is a conceptual principle of cargo transportation management. Based on the use of state–of–the–art technologies, DTC provides information support of transportation services, including e–document workflow. Viewed as an information system, DTC makes it possible to achieve the balance of interests for customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics centers.

During the panel discussion, the panelists shared their experience in the implementation of EDM systems in Latvia and Ukraine. The speakers repeatedly emphasized that it is necessary to cooperate with public authorities so as to attain complete paperless environment for transportation channels. According to Oleg Shloma of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, state bodies are interested in promoting digital environment as well.
