BLStream, SMT Software Services and Kupferwerk Under a Joint Brand – intive

intive, this is the name of the brand created following the merger of BLStream, Kupferwerk and SMT Software Services.

The idea behind intive is to respond to the growing demand on the market for advanced IT solutions triggered by the digital transformation. The merger was driven by Central Europe’s largest investment fund Enterprise Investors.

intive operates on the market of customized IT solutions, designed and delivered on client’s individual request.

The integration of three IT companies, that complement each other very well with regards to offering and geographical spread, enable the new enterprise to provide comprehensive services along the whole software application lifecycle. From shaping the idea and business plan of a product to its design, development and optimization to its maintenance.

“The world around us is changing. A new world is replacing the old one. Uber, Airbnb, Facebook are emerging as the largest taxi, hotel and media companies. But they own no taxis, no rooms and create no content! They prosper because they offer better services at a lower price. This is the pattern how digital transforms almost every industry,”

says Ludovic Gaudé, CEO at intive.

“One of the key drivers for success in those times are the creativity of proposed solutions and short product development cycles to meet the current needs of the end customer and respond to a dynamically changing environment. Our goal at intive is to co-create great software solutions that people love using, and have a clear business value – helping our clients to turn ideas into digital reality.”

With more than 1,200 specialists working from 11 delivery centers across Germany and Poland intive has the scale to continue the tradition of its predecessor companies: serving marquee companies such as Audi, BMW, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, ING, Microsoft, Orange, Viacom, Vodafone, Volkswagen and Zalando.

intive is the largest software development company of Polish origin, driven by a strong owner, investment fund Enterprise Investors, who owns more than 90% of the shares of intive.

The company estimates its revenue to reach EUR 60m at of the end of 2016.

“We are expecting a 25% growth in revenue year to year and we plan strategic investments in our key markets USA and Germany to achieve our goal of doubling ourselves by 2019,”

explains Ludovic Gaudé.
