Today, it associates over 40 Members.

The ABSL mission is to lead the business services sector to anchor and expand in Poland through industry collaboration and by engaging authorities and interest groups in shaping key operational and development aspects.  ABSL is an author of reports and analyses of the business sector and also one of the leading association organizing conferences on the investment attractiveness of Poland.

- Both the events organized by Roadshow Poland and our yearly conferences are well-known within the business representatives, government and the media. Thanks to joining forces, this year’s event can attract even more guests and make a permanent mark on the business events calendar in Poland – says Krystian Bestry, Vice-President of ABSL.

According to Eva Aboo, Roadshow Poland President, the union of Roadshow’s and ABSL’s experience will make this event one of the biggest ones in the sector, giving it a chance to attract guests from the whole CEE region.

The conference will be devoted to Poland’s position on the global map of business services. The first quarter of 2011 has begun intense reshuffling of business processes around the world. It has prompted the leading outsourcing representatives in Poland to discuss  the new trends and investment perspectives of Poland as the offshoring destination.

As a result of riots in Northern Africa, cataclysm in Japan, rising crime rates in Mexico, many investors were forced to relocate their businesses to safer locations. Countries of Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, are becoming a natural direction for business migration.

At the conference, the newest ABSL Report will be presented. It will concern  the business services sector in Poland and the CEE region. This will be yet another detailed analysis by ABSL, taking into consideration the value of the market, employment rates, characteristics of activity of business services centres. The analysis concerns service centers with foreign capital: Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO), Shared Services Centers (SSC), and also Research&Development (R&D). This year, for the first time, the Report includes also other countries of the CEE region as well as the ITO and R&D centres.

The main topics that will be covered during the conference:

  • Meaning of the BPO/ITO sector for Polish economy (Business Services Sector in Poland; effective support for existing investments and grants for new investors; central administration support)
  • Advanced business services (the future of advanced business services and investment opportunities for Poland)
  • Development of the Outsourcing market in Poland (BPO development barriers in Poland from corporation perspective)
