LogicaCMG wins “Oracle Innovation Partner of the Year” and “Oracle and IBM Joint Partner of the Year Award”

LogicaCMG, one of Europe’s leading IT and business services companies, has won two awards at this year’s Oracle UK Partner Awards 2008 held in London on 13 February, including “Oracle Innovation Partner of the Year” and “Oracle and IBM Joint Partner of the Year”. Oracle has 1,500 partners in the UK and hosts an annual awards ceremony to recognise outstanding performance. LogicaCMG was the only company to win two out of the 13 awards.

The Oracle Innovation Partner of the Year recognised LogicaCMG’s new Oracle BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) offering. The launch of this innovative BPO service partnership in September 2007 was the first of its kind in the UK, giving many private and public sector organisations the opportunity to change the way they deliver HR and payroll services to their employees. Through the partnership, organisations that select LogicaCMG as their HR & payroll service provider benefit from Oracle being deployed in a ‘software as a service’ fashion, on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis.

The Oracle and IBM Joint Partner of the Year award recognises LogicaCMG’s commitment to working with Oracle and IBM to bring innovative, high value solutions to customers.  In particular, LogicaCMG has worked with both IBM and Oracle to develop an ODIS (On Demand Infrastructure Services) capability that is ideal for outsourcing clients.
