MERA Supports CommProve in Developing an Innovative Network Surveillance Platform

MERA, an Eastern Europe’s leader in software R&D services for Telecom and Media, and CommProve, a leading provider of network monitoring and business solutions for mobile networks, today announced that MERA will collaborate with CommProve on high performance and innovative real-time network surveillance solutions for the wireless market.

CommProve NetLedge is a vendor agnostic end-to-end network monitoring platform that collects control and user plane data from all network layers, network interfaces and network technologies from 2G, 3G and LTE networks to wireline and VoIP networks. CommProve NetLedge works independently from the deployed technology, for example, Radio Access or Core Network. NetLedge uses probes and network element counters to perform real-time data correlation across all interfaces monitored in the network and can be scaled across multiple deployment scenarios. The NetLedge platform enables operators to greatly reduce the time required to identify, resolve and verify Network QoS issues, while also significantly reducing operational expense. CommProve’s systems are deployed in a growing number of Tier 1 operators and partners worldwide. MERA will provide CommProve with expertise in a number of product areas from the visualization layer to data processing.

“MERA has great software expertise and we’re excited to be working with them on expanding our network surveillance solutions for the wireless market,” says Andrea Pieraccini, VP of research and development at CommProve.

“CommProve solutions are extremely effective in network monitoring and we are glad to share with the company our rich experience in software R&D within quite a number of telecom domains. We hope to expand our cooperation in the near future to cover other technologies as well,” says Alexey Myakov, VP of business development.
