From 4th to 9th March in Hannover, Germany was held CeBIT 2008 – the world’s largest and most prestigious fair in the area of telecommunications and information technologies. The accent of this year’s event was Green IT – a forum designed to put the ICT industry in touch with the relevant aspects of climate protection. Nearly 6000 exhibitors from 77 countries took part in the event and the attendance this year was up to three percent over the previous year, totaling 495,000 visitors.

Bulgaria’s presentation was stronger this year in comparison with CeBIT 2007 and our country managed to outline the real capacities for business development in Bulgaria in the area of ICT sector. Among the many important business visits to the Bulgarian common stand was the one of Plamen Vachkov – Chairman of the Bulgarian State Agency for Information Technology and Communications (SAITC), which along with the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) organized the national stand.

Musala Soft continued its successful presentation at the fair, taking part for a sixth consecutive time, proving that the company is one of the most active Bulgarian companies at IT events worldwide. Musala Soft presented its software services, provided in the three areas of specialization of the company – BPM / SOA / EAI, Enterprise Portal Solutions and Enterprise Application Modernization, and the broad portfolio of technologies, certifications and experience.
