Ukraine is a country with a large number of certified IT professionals (Ukraine is listed in the top five of worldwide countries). This fact has been confirmed by the Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative and this is the first reason why you should outsource your IT services in Ukraine. Reason 1: Certified IT professionals
The first and also the main reason is the Ukrainian specialists as mentioned above. The total number of certified IT professionals is about 25 thousand people and the total number of people involved in the field of IT services is at about 200-215 thousand people. This number is expected to increase to about 350 thousand people by 2015. Almost a quarter of these IT professionals are hired by local companies and the remainder are working with foreign companies.

Reason 2: Big industry growth
According to a report by the Financial Times in 2012, Ukrainian IT specialists earned over $1 billion in the IT services export industry. Since that time the industry has been increasing up to 20-30% in earnings every year. No other country in Eastern Europe shows such high results.

Ukrainian IT professional get considerable tax relief. Everyone involved in IT is paying only 5 percent of their income into the state budget. This government tax plan will continue until 2023.

Reason 4: Strategic location
The time difference with Western European companies is just 1 hour. Most of Ukrainian’s Project Managers speak at least two or even more languages: English, German, Russian, and other languages. It takes only 2.5 hours to get into Ukraine from European based companies.
