S&T Slovakia: mySAP All-in-One for Terichem

A large manufacturer, selected S&T Slovakia to implement the mySAP All-in-One solution. Terichem uses the same information system as its holding company in Finland, and has upgraded its overall business performance.

Terichem a.s. was founded in 1995 as a joint venture between the Slovakian company Chemosvit and the Finnish company AB RANIPLAST OY. The main focus of Terichem’s business activities is the production of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films for polymer packaging used in electrical and technical applications. Terichem operates production facilities in Slovakia and Ukraine and distributes its products world-wide.

The challenge for S&T Slovakia during this project was to optimize business processes and to make the production data as transparent as possible. The decision to implement the ERP solution at Terichem was partly related to the use of the SAP information system by the parent company in Finland as well as its other subsidiaries. The SAP solution harmonizes all processes and reporting tools with those used by the parent company.

The mySAP All-in-One solution involves the implementation of financial, logistics, quality and workflow control modules. A maintenance module is also planned for the development of the information system. S&T Slovakia was chosen to provide this solution due to its extensive experience with SAP implementations and references from the manufacturing sector.

“We can see the benefits of mySAP All-in-One implementation, especially in replacing various information systems which are unsuitable for certain modules with one sophisticated system. The solution ensures an improvement in data quality. At the same time, the basis was created for a more efficient coordination of production, sales and logistics with the subsidiary TERICHEM Luck in Ukraine”, says Ladislav Dulovic, CFO at Terichem a.s.
