Bulgarian viewers can now follow on the move the programs of the most popular television channels in the country with a new mobile app called BG TV, which is developed by Bulgarian software company Sirma Mobile, a division of Sirma Group Holding. At the moment, it includes information about the programs of the ten most popular TV channels in Bulgaria.
The app is created for the Java ME platform and is able to work on all kinds of smartphones and other mobile phones that support this technology. A version for mobile operating system Android is also to be released. Simultaneously with the Bulgarian edition Sirma Mobile also released a version of the app for the TV channels in Serbia.
Meanwhile, the software company announced that it had developed versions of its mobile app SofSpirka for operating systems MeeGo*, Windows Phone*, and Symbian^3*. Let us remind you that the application was launched last year for Android*, and recently it has been gaining more and more popularity in Bulgaria due to its abilities to provide real-time information about the buses, trolleys and trams in the public transport network in Sofia. Sirma Mobile is a Preferred Nokia Developer, which lets the company quickly make robust mobile apps for the platforms that Nokia develops.
