Acquisitions, Accreditations and Awards Drive SoftServe’s Growth to 3,700 Employees in 2014

Company poised to continue its strong growth trajectory in 2015

SoftServe, a leading global software application development and consulting company, today announced the successful completion of another outstanding year. Highlights of 2014 include acquisition of 2 European companies, further global expansion, and significant customer and employee growth.

In the course of the year, the company significantly increased its customer base by adding new clients such as Panasonic, Red Hat, Cloudera, PE International, Celesio and CompuGroup Medical. Over 500 new professionals have joined the company, including the recruitment of senior executives Eugene Borukhovich (Healthcare), Brian Borack (Enterprise Technology), and Robert Bongi (Retail) to enhance the vertical practice teams.

SoftServe further strengthened its already world-class service for customers by opening new development locations in Bulgaria and Poland, as well as sales offices in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and UK, and moved the USA headquarters to Austin, TX. This year the company also expanded its European operations by acquiring Initium Consulting Group B.V. and UkrGermanEnterprise GmbH.

Experts from SoftServe shared their insights and the company’s best practices at a plethora of IT conferences across the world including CeBIT, European ISV Convention, WoHIT, BigData TechCon, SATURN, Cloud Computing Expo, Health 2.0, Retail Tech & Development Summit and many more. SoftServe also played a significant part in showcasing Ukraine’s IT potential by sponsoring the Support Ukraine IT initiative and Ukraine Tech Gem conference.

Ranked as the Best Employer in Ukraine 2013-2014 by AON Hewitt and AXES, SoftServe’s delivery excellence was recognized by IAOP, who rated it as a Leader in the 2014 Global Outsourcing 100 List, and SoftServe was shortlisted for a variety of awards including the National Outsourcing Association International Contract of the Year and Nimbus Ninety Ignite Internet of Things Award.

Further recognition came with SoftServe achieving a Microsoft Gold Application Development Competency in Germany and the UK, Microsoft Windows Azure Circle Membership in the UK, and ISO 27001:2013 certification for offices in Bulgaria, Ukraine and USA.
