TEAM has chosen to take part in the Landing program, created by Ruta N, an organization dedicated to the advancement of Science and Technology in Medellin.

TEAM enlisted the help of Agency for Cooperation and Investment (ACI), which brought the opportunity for TEAM to participate in the Landing Program at Ruta N. The cooperation between Ruta N and ACI was formed to help technology companies like TEAM to quickly start operations in Medellin.

Medellin, Colombia is a strategic choice for TEAM International due to the large pool of highly qualified IT talent, and the country’s proximity to US-based TEAM customers. The TEAM Colombian office is located in Ruta N facilities – the center of innovation and business created by the city of Medellin and Colombian telecom company UNE EPM to promote the development of innovative technology-based businesses.

Ruta N provides a wide range of business services, and the Landing Program is one of them. It is a strategic internationalization project executed jointly by Ruta N and ACI to facilitate international companies to quickly start operations in Medellin. According to ACI, the program helps to build an innovation ecosystem, and has already supported 45 companies.

Medellin authorities fully support the Landing program – the Mayor of Medellin states that adding such companies as TEAM International to the Ruta N R&D center contributes to knowledge generation and sustainable development of the region.
