Tieto introduces two new PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings by taking SAP and Database platforms to the cloud. Dynamic SAP Landscape allows companies to run applications without having to invest in hardware or technical expertise. Database platform delivered as a service optimizes hardware resources and enables significant savings on software licenses.

Dynamic SAP Landscape has a tested environment, ready models for implementations and operations, operational processes as well as tools in place. The services are available 24/7 and customers’ cost structure gets lighter compared to the traditional service model.

Database platform as a service offers high availability for all databases on hardware and application level, as well as horizontal and vertical scaling. It includes robust backup management combined with backup cost reductions and a possibility to choose between different levels of disaster recovery.

Tieto’s PaaS services utilize energy efficient and high secured data centre facilities in Finland and Sweden, with advanced cloud service capabilities. Recently, the data centre in Espoo won the internationally renowned Green Enterprise IT (GEIT) Award.
