Upnetix Participated in the Leading Digital Technology Event DigitalK

The DigitalK conference is one of the most prominent digital technology events in Southeast Europe, that brings together global business leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, investors and digital marketing professionals.

The DigitalK conference is one of the most prominent digital technology events in Southeast Europe, that brings together global business leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, investors and digital marketing professionals. Every year more than 2000 people attend the event and have the opportunity to meet some of the most important technology innovators, entrepreneurs and investors who define the future. This year’s DigitalK conference was held from 8. to 9. June in Sofia, Bulgaria and presented the latest trends in digital transformation.

Over 60 speakers from business leaders like Apple, LEGO, Gartner, VMware, Progress, SAP, Google and many others were present at the two-day forum. The topics and format of DigitalK were specially selected to be of benefit to business representatives who are interested in how modern technology is changing our understanding of trading, manufacturing, communication, organizational structure and processes.

DigitalK’s speakers shared their expertise on the new business models created by digital transformation as well as the opportunities arising from latest developments and trends from the digitalization of business and society. Major topics that were discussed at the conference were technological innovation in payments and blockchain as the new currency of trust; self-driving cars and the future of transport; applications of artificial intelligence in business; ad channels and formats that work in today’s reality, and more.

Radoslav Gaydarski, CEO of Upnetix, participated in the panel discussion on the topic “Personalized Higher Education: Is College Still Worth It?”. Together with Alvaro Sanmartin, Growth – Udacity Connect, Udacity, Jan Reichelt, Co-Founder of Mendeley and Svetozar Georgiev, Co-Founder of Telerik Academy they discussed alternative educational models and how building a game-changing talent strategy helps companies deal with the struggle of finding the right talent and bridge the skills gap.

“Now IT Talents education is applicable to IT, but I do not see why it will not be applicable to biology for example in the future”,

claimed Radoslav Gaydarski, CEO of Upnetix.

Among the lecturers were also the business leaders Navin Jane, the first person with a license for passenger flights to the moon, Adeо Ressi – an entrepreneur and investor who supported the development of more than 1400 companies around the world, Aaron Rasmussen, the creator of the online masterclass Douglas Carswell and Kit Colbert, VP & CTO, Cloud Platform BU at VMware, driving technical strategy and innovation for the vSphere, VMware Cloud on AWS, and cloud-native product lines.
