The national selections for the second edition of the UN World Summit Awards Mobile (WSA-mobile) 2012 are on the way.

WSA-mobile is a global contest for excellence in m-content. It promotes the mobile solutions that can add value and make the society more inclusive.

Deadline for applications from Bulgaria: 10 July 2012 at www.wsabg.org!

The WSA-mobile jury will be looking for content, comprehensiveness, creativity, accessibility, added value in the submitted applications. A simple sms-based application or mobile version of a webpage can be among the winners in one of the categories of the contest.

Bulgarian achievements in m-content received global recognition. Melon Mobile’s museum guide Smart Museum application, is a winner at the World Summit Award Mobile 2010.

WSA-mobile is the mobile version of the World summit Award (WSA), an initiative started in 2003 in the framework of the United Nations’ World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and sees bridging the Digital Divide and the Content Gap as its overall goal.
