Grab the Steering Wheel of Mobility-as-a-Service, at Comtrade Business Hackathon in Berlin

In June, Comtrade Digital Services’ Mobility Lab will try out yet another way to make the topic of Mobility-as-a-Service even more inspiring and cool. It will host and sponsor a two-day Business Hackathon in Berlin, Saturday, June 10 – Sunday, June 11, for smart and motivated people who are passionate about innovations in Mobility. Food and drinks will be provided and there will be no participation fee.

The Lab team will kick off that brain-twisting weekend with an overview of the hottest topics at the crossroads of technology and business, on Friday evening. Presentations on blockchain technology, business model adaptations and other gear-shifting trends will be followed by an icebreaker party for the participants. Then, on Saturday morning, impromptu teams will start creating innovative solutions for business models in a digital Mobility-as-a-Service ecosystem, and will work all through mid-day Sunday.

At 2 PM on Sunday, the competing crews will present their pitches before a Jury, which will select and declare the winning effort by 5 PM.

Boasting an encouraging headline, MAKING SMART MOBILITY SMARTER, the Hackathon doubles as a business conference and as such has speakers, namely:

Prof. Dr. Andreas Knie, InnoZ
Thomas Zeinzinger, Blockchain Hub
Joseph Laborda,  RACC Automóvil Club

Two mentors (our own Marko Javornik, VP/GM Mobility & Travel at Comtrade Digital Services and COO of Travelcar, Gui Bulaty) will be on hand to steer the proceedings. Jury members will be Paul Kompfner, Senior Adviser, Urban Mobility & MaaS at Ertico (MaaS Alliance) and Alex Hofmann, Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Gründerszene.
