ServiceWave 2008

December 10-13, 2008, Madrid, Spain, the new ServiceWave 2008 conference has taken place to discuss the Future of the Internet Services. With more than 250 attendees and most acute problems within the IT realm discussed, the conference attracted proactive and mostly IT occupied audience. It was a unique chance for both researchers from industry to present scientific works, and software developers and engineers to discuss business models so intensively. The premier European forum was set up for researchers, educators as well as practitioners to present and talk over the most up to date innovations, trends and experiences in Software Services and network technologies. The conference creators promoted the growth and development of the so called cross-community scientific excellence by gathering diverse experts from various disciplines such as business process management, distributed computing systems, grid computing, networking, wireless & mobile communication networks, service science and software development.

“In the 21th Century when the Internet has become one of the leading infrastructures, and interest to the Internet services is constantly growing, such conferences like ServiceWave 2008 are becoming a must to visit for everyone who wants to keep up with new trends in the Internet services. The important role of the Internet and it’s fast pace of development require interdisciplinary work and an exchange of ideas between previously autonomous disciplines such as computer science, electrical engineering and social sciences. Thanks to the forum enabled by ServiceWave 2008 organizers, this exchange of ideas has come true” comments CEO of Softjournal. “The most interesting reports presented at ServiceWave 2008 will be discussed in the next numbers of our online IT magazine http://www.softjournal.ru”.
