Softline is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed its quality management system certification in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 international standard. The audit was performed in July and August 2012 by experts from the international certification company, SGS.
As an international company and one of the leaders on the IT services market, Softline has been working with SGS since 2009 and has trusted the company to perform audits confirming Softline’s compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system. Being a fast developing company, Softline expands the scope of its certification each year.
This year an audit of the management system took place both in Moscow and in Softline regional offices. During the audit SGS experts noted that the management of the company was conducted successfully, even though the system is very informal and is oriented towards effective client service. Certification was performed in accordance with ISO 9001, but its requirements are not the only international ones that Softline follows in its work. For example, the company uses ISO 19770-1 – a standard referring to software asset management.
The auditors have noted a number of important positive points concerning the company’s management system:
“It’s also worth mentioning that Softline constantly plans and executes a great number of projects for the development and improvement of internal business processes. Such an attitude to the work of all team members in the company is how Softline keeps its key positions on the market, and is how it will be able to confirm its leadership in the future. We are sure that despite our success today only the desire to make every step and operation better and better can make us much stronger.
“During the audit one more interesting effect was noticed. While accompanying the auditors inside the company, and looking at our employees from the position of the SGS experts, we were pleased to see highly developed team spirit and a exceptional level of involvement by every Softline employee in achieving common goals. During the work on solving problems and improving processes it’s not really noticeable. But the auditing gives us the opportunity to look at the situation from a different point of view and take a new look at things. It inspires us and gives additional incentive to our work,” said Softline Quality Director, Dmitry Shirshov. “During the audit our partners from SGS helped us to outline new possibilities for the development of Softline quality activities. We were assured that we were working in the right direction, which is why we expect excellent results.”
