Acceptic assigned new CEO and CBDO

Acceptic Ltd, a Ukrainian software development company, announced the appointment of new top managers. Dmitriy Stetsenko and Dmitriy Kharchenko are assigned as CEO and CBDO (Chief Business Development Office), respectively.

The re-organization is aimed to strengthen the company’s positions in the IT outsourcing market and favor the implementation of new marketing strategies.

Dmitriy Kharchenko: “Acceptic Ltd is a software development company with the main production office located in Ukraine. In the recent years Acceptic has demonstrated a steady growth. But now we see a necessity to make the next steps in order to enhance business efficiency and leverage new opportunities.”

Acceptic was established as a company which specializes both in the latest IT innovations (such as development of Facebook applications and software for iPhone) and time-proved high-performance cross-platform programming (C++, Qt, parallel calculations, multithreading). Due to knowledge and experience in different IT areas Acceptic is able to provide up-to-date and at the same time robust and cost-effective applications.

But the current market realities as well as the overall global business environment require new approaches. Today customers demand more control over the outsourced software development processes and more flexibility in contracting.

To keep the company on a par with the latest market requirements, Dmitriy Kharchenko, the previous Acceptic CEO, will be responsible for the company strategic business development. CEO functions are charged on Dmitriy Stetsenko who was the CTO at Acceptic.

Both managers have strong experience in software development, project management and business building. Dmitriy Kharchenko is a BSc in Theoretical Mathematics (Kharkiv National University, Ukraine) and holds Master’s degree in Computer Science (Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel). Dmitriy Stetsenko is a MSc in Computer Science (Kharkiv University of Radio-Electonics) and has solid technical and managerial background.

Among the immediate tasks for the new CEO and CBDO is the enhancement of Acceptic dedicated team services. For customers from the USA and European Union dedicated development teams are one of the most attractive forms of IT outsourcing, especially in combination with Agile development methodology. Such an outsourcing model is very flexible (e.g., a team can be scaled down/up as needed), controllable (due to the use of modern tools for real-time communication and project progress monitoring), cost-effective and able to exactly meet the clients’ requirements and goals.

Recent Acceptic participation in the world’s leading ICT expo CeBIT-2010 has pointed out one more time the importance of closeness to local customers and accentuated the necessity to have the company representative offices in Germany and some other countries. This item is also added on the task list of the new CBDO.

Dmitriy Stetsenko: “We are firmly convinced that the re-organization helps Acceptic to achieve a new level of the marketing and operational effectiveness and will open new prospects in the company development.”
