The TradeSync Integration Manager solution implemented by the AIMTEC Company automates and integrates electronic data interchange with customers in the PLASTKOV Group

The PLASTKOV Group and its subsidiaries PLATKOV MR and PLASTKOV Automotive located in Hinsko, manufacturers of plastic parts for the automotive industry, exchange effectively electronic messages with their customers by means of a robust and safe solution – the TradeSync Integration Manager by Aimtec from Pilsen. The implemented solution provides the PLASTKOV Company with a fully automated interchange of messages (call-offs, delivery notes and self-billing invoices in VDA, EDIFACT and ODETTE formats) with its automotive industry customers. The EDI solution will intensify the cooperation of both companies, as it follows an ERP system implementation project that is currently under way.

The Group expanded significantly at the end of last year, when its owner, the Benson Oak investment company, bought 100% share in the BTV plast Company. Main customers of the PLASTKOV Group are car manufacturers (Auto, VW, Audi, PSA, Kia,Hyundai, and TPCA), as well as automotive industry contractors (e.g., Automotive Lighting, Behr, Ideal Automotive, Valeo, Kostal and Arvin Meritor).

PLASKOV has been using another EDI solution so far. It needed to consolidate electronic communication with its business partners. PLASTKOV has selected an all round product – the Axway TradeSync Integration Manager (TSIM) by Aimtec from Pilsen (a provider of information technology solutions). The project covers electronic interchange of call-offs (VDA 4905, DELFOR, DELINS, DELJIT), delivery notes (VDA 4913, DESADV, AVIEXP), self-billing invoices (INVOIC) and special order types (TOYOTA MANIFEST). The solution proved successful already in the BTV plast Company. It is fully integrated with the legacy SAP business information system. The PLASTKOV Group has found in Aimtec both a reliable EDI project supplier, as well as an EDI project implementation provider. Currently, a SappyCar implementation project is in progress in PLASTKOV.
