AITIA International Inc. has been awarded with Business & Success magazine’s (Uzlet & Siker) Certified Business 2008 prize on November 20. The prize, awarded by the magazine for small- and medium enterprises audits and awards SMEs each year and declares the 27 best based not only on their financial results but also on their innovation skills and competitiveness. After winning its category in 2007, AITIA International was awarded with the main prize in 2008.

The company owes its success to its highly qualified, enthusiastic staff, and to the well working research cooperation developed with Hungary’s large universities (BUTE and ELTE), based on which high quality information technology products have been developed.

The prize has been awarded for the 7. time this year among 250 SMEs. These companies – with turnovers between ?400,000 and ?20 million – could apply for one of 9 categories: 3 categories were set up according to industries (commerce, service and production) with each containing 3
categories based on turnover (under ?2 million; between ?2-4 million and over ?4 million). Aspiring businesses not only submitted their business data for the previous 3 years but their bad debt management policies, innovation-, competitiveness- and employment data as well as their relations with state institutions.

The goal of the prize awarded by Sanoma is for the winners to prove their innovation skills and competitiveness.
