In 2007 the leading supplier of IT and consultancy services in the Baltic States, Alna Intelligence doubled the number of computer workplaces it maintains in Lithuania, Latvia and other states—from three to six thousand.

According to Alna Intelligence director Gintaras Grybenas, in 2007 the company mainly concentrated on their principal sphere of activity—maintenance services. The growth in the number of clients, concern for quality of services and improved performance led to an increase in company revenue from maintenance services of up to 24 percent.

Alna Intelligence supplies most of their IT rental and other services in Lithuania and Latvia. The gross profit in the market of neighbouring countries grew by 35 percent in 2007.

The company also has clients in Estonia, Poland, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands. Workplaces there are maintained by computer networks using distance administration instruments. Last year Alna Intelligence widened their scope of services by introducing the CA Support Bridge solution for distant workplace maintenance. Its integration into the previous CA Service Desk system helped contribute to shortening the term for elimination of problems and optimizing IT engineers work.

During the previous year 73 contracts were concluded for IT equipment rental and service supply. More than 10 percent of Alna Intelligence service supply contracts are international.

„This year we shall proceed with the improvement of maintenance services and development. IT rental services has justified itself as being the most effective form of computer workplace maintenance. Thus, the relevant objectives for today are to introduce rental services to potential new customers and meet the needs of existing clients“—claimed G. Grybenas. According to him, the possibility of controlling IT expenses and adjusting the IT economy to changing needs and developments make rental services even more attractive.
