Altoros authorized by our customer has developed an interactive SharePoint portal that became the main communication media at Microsoft Partner Network Event held on July 10-14, 2011 in Los Angeles. The event greeted 15,000 IT specialists from 130+ different countries.
Employed by an ISV company, Altoros developed a large interactive portal that helps promote the conference in different social networks and unites all the participants into a strong community. Altoros utilized the SharePoint 2010 Publishing Portal solution with custom Web parts to ensure more convenience to the ultimate users. The team developed a flexible user-friendly CMS-like interface that enables to add, edit, and post different types of content effortlessly, making life of journalists, content managers, and PR specialists much easier.
Altoros ensured a highly-protected authentication process so that the users could log into the portal using their social media accounts and local domain credentials. Not only did the Altoros SharePoint developers implement a rich solution, but they also provided live support during the conference.
The event agenda covered cutting-edge technologies and solutions provided by one of the leading companies on the market. The participants discussed Microsoft stack, Cloud offerings, Windows 7 and Windows Phone, and shared their ideas on future trends in the field.
