ANECT Presented Its New Strategy to Partners

On 19 March 2009 the Crowne Plaza Castle Hotel hosted the “Orange Ocean Strategy” event organized by ANECT a.s. to introduce the new strategy of the company to its current and potential business partners. The strategy was presented by the Business Manager Marek Soltys and the Director of Strategy and Innovation Tomas Prosek. The event was also attended by ANECT?s Director-General Jaroslav Hlousek and many others.

Marek Soltys? and Tomas Prosek?s presentation “Orange Ocean Strategy” consisted of two parts. In the first one, they talked about the definition of ANECT?s business strategy and its presuppositions, analyzing the changes in the IT market that had been triggered by the current economic crisis. They mentioned the potential of companies to adapt to those changes and react to them adequately, for example by implementing innovative features more quickly.

In the second part of their talk, the speakers presented the “Orange Ocean Strategy” itself. They pointed out the conditions needed for its implementation and what creates them, and then introduced the four main directions the whole strategy is based upon, i.e. adding new market verticals, making full use of the existing ones, entering the area of business processes integration, and strengthening the current position of the company in the market.

According to the speakers, implementing this business strategy requires the company management to succeed in several key activities: making a stronger business team, entering the markets of Central and Eastern Europe (or communication activities that would help raise awareness of the brand), building a solid position in the market, and also creating a profile of the key competences and expert qualifications of the company and its specialists.
