Armada Confirms Compliance With ISO Quality Standards

Moscow, 2 August 2011 – Armada OJSC (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) hereby announces having successfully passed an annual audit for the compliance of its quality management system with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 standards. The quality management system covers all major processes of software development and provision of IT services (design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions), and management of IT assets comprising Armada Group.

ISO 9000 standards are recognized in more than 190 countries as national standards and applicable to any company regardless of its size, type of ownership and area of operations. Passing the annual audit shows that Armada’s products and service meet the declared quality level and that the company is constantly improving its operations based on its expertise.

“ISO certification is not obligatory in Russia, this is our own initiative and competitive advantage. Armada seeks to have long-term cooperation with its customers, implements large-scale projects involving great responsibility (for example, a system for calculating Russia’s GDP), where quality is the decisive factor for choosing the service provider. Armada has been taking annual certification audit of its quality management system for more than 10 years. The quality management system also applies to companies acquired by Armada,” Armada CEO Roman Kruglyakov said.
