Asseco Central Europe owns 100%-shares of MPI CONSULTING

Asseco Central Europe (Asseco CE) acquired, through Asseco Slovakia, the remaining 49% stake in MPI CONSULTING on April 9, 2010. Asseco CE thus became its 100% owner.

The first acquisition agreement on acquiring 51% stake, signed on July 6, 2007 between  Asseco Slovakia and MPI CONSULTING, provider of consultancy services on implementation of the economic SAP system, was followed by the new contract from April 9, 2010 on the acquisition of 100% stake in the company.

“Given our long-term objective of consolidating and strengthening our position on the Central European ICT market, we (MPI CONSULTING and Asseco CE) came to the agreement on this form of ownership, that shall bring, in addition to more effective co-operation, mainly synergies in the area of project and business activities, as well as in the administration,” explains Jozef Klein, CEO of Asseco CE.

Asseco CE, established by the means of integration between Asseco Slovakia and Asseco Czech Republic in a joint business group, continues with this acquisition consolidation of its business activities that was launched in early 2009, when it became 100% owner of Datalock (Asseco Solutions today). Consolidation continued in November 2009 with acquisition of the remaining shares in Asseco Solutions registered in the Czech Republic (formerly LCS International) and in December by extending its portfolio to the Hungarian market – with signing the contract on 70.04%-stake in IT company Statlogics.
