Microsoft’s “Sinergija 2010”, one of the biggest IT conferences in the region, was held from 15-18th November in Sava Center and Hyatt Regency Hall in Belgrade.

The tenth anniversary conference had more than 3000 visitors and over hundred lectures organized in eight thematic units. Asseco SEE in Serbia, earlier this year awarded as a Microsoft’s Custom Development Solutions – Smart Client Development Partner of the Year and Country Partner of the Year, was as Platinum sponsor and participated with four presentations in the official conference’s program.

In the “Sinergija BIZ” part of the conference held in Hyatt, Aleksandar Milosevic, Asseco SEE Experience Product Line Manager, held observed session about future of IT in banking – called “Banking 2.0”. As Mr. Milosevic stated, Banking 2.0 is based on demand for new products in shorter cycles as well as more compelling, customizable and innovative products based on solid 360-degree view of the customer. “Experience”, the latest Asseco SEE core banking system, is built from the ground up on IFW business process and data models from IBM using Microsoft .NET platform. It is catalyst for new initiatives, such as Branch transformation, multi-channel and customer data integration. Furthermore, it increases employee productivity, lowering costs while reducing operational risk with modern reliable architecture.

Another presentation was delivered by Marko Pavkovic, Asseco SEE Senior Developer, with topic dedicated to high performance calculation with Dynamic SQL on SQL SERVER & ASP.NET. On the second day, Nenad Jovicic, Asseco SEE Program Manager for Experience, held a lecture about AppFabric Caching – Developing Cache Enabled Applications. Both sessions ended with questions from the audience and the discussion continued at Asseco SEE exhibition stand.

Since Asseco SEE is following the latest technology trends in broad industry verticals, two special solutions were presented by Vladan Atanasijevic, Asseco SEE Head of System Integration, together with professor Rancic, dedicated to Video processing and GIS- geographic information system.
