This spring has been filled with events for Auriga. Our experts visited a series of international expo shows and trade fairs in both the U.S. and Europe to catch up with the latest IT trends, share our experience, network with prominent gurus, and discuss the future of the industry. Twice we went to Hannover, Germany to take part in two large and exciting exhibitions — CeBIT 2017 and Hannover Messe.
In March, Auriga joined 100,000 companies that sent their professionals to CeBIT, one of the largest global events for digital business and the only event in the world to present the digital transformation in its entirety, showcasing real examples and best practices. CeBIT 2017 gathered over 200,000 visitors, and more than 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries, including Japan as this year’s Partner Country, presented their innovative ideas and insights at the event.
CeBIT 2017 aimed at illuminating and exploring every conceivable aspect of the digital transformation. The hottest topics included the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, robotics, drones, 5G, cloud, cybersecurity, and smart cities. The conference featured over 200 speakers who gave brilliant keynote speeches and shared their insights on the current digital trends.
At the end of April, Auriga took part in another impressive trade fair — Hannover Messe. It was a truly international event with approximately 30% of the 225,000 attendees and 60% of the 6,500 exhibitor companies coming from abroad. The fairgrounds were sold out down to the last square meter, as so many players from the tech, business, manufacturing, and government realms wanted to participate in the world’s leading industry show.
The event was focused on Industry 4.0, the Industrial IoT, smart robotics, and smart grids. Our experts were especially interested in cobots, or collaborative robots; AR wearables, such as smart helmets and glasses, designed for industrial work environments; IoT gateways that solve the communication gap between sensor nodes and customers’ clouds; and predictive maintenance and big data analytics solutions.
Sergey Berezko, Head of Auriga’s European Branch, made the following comment on the events:
“To be able to deliver the most functional and cutting-edge solutions, we should always keep a finger on the pulse of technological innovations. Such events as CeBIT and Hannover Messe give us an invaluable opportunity to explore the newest developments and emerging technologies in the IT environment and, thus, keep up with the latest trends.”
