SoftServe, a Trusted Provider of Technology Solutions and Support, Joins with Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas for Local Philanthropic Event.

SoftServe, Inc., provider of software consulting, development, testing and lifecycle services to IT decision-makers, today announced that it is supporting the Austin area technology community as both a trusted partner and philanthropic sponsor. The company provides software development services to Trilogy Enterprises, Inc. and other leading organizations in the area, and is working with the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas to promote its efforts in engendering awareness for entrepreneurship in the Austin area.

Independent software vendors (ISVs) are constantly turning to providers such as SoftServe to aid in the quicker development of innovative applications, enabling lasting partnerships that provide benefits for both organizations and the communities they serve. Trilogy is one Austin-based organization that identified a need for quicker delivery of its Web and mobile applications to its customers in the automotive and telecommunications industries, and enlisted SoftServe to partner in the creation of this software. SoftServe has completed more than 500 projects for clients in the Austin area, whose investors include local firms such as Austin Ventures, Capital Factory, Centennial Ventures, Texas Ventures, The Texas Emerging Technology Fund and Trellis Partners.

“Our customers leverage our technologies to drive their own customer outreach efforts, and as such demand the most effective mobile and Web-based tools available to support this,” said Joe Liemandt, CEO, Trilogy. “Our work with SoftServe has ensured that the tools we offer are of the highest quality and make their way into our customers’ hands as quickly as possible.”

SoftServe, working in tandem with Trilogy and other Austin-based companies has helped to foster growth and entrepreneurship in the area by the sponsoring philanthropic events hosted by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas. SoftServe continues to work with leading ISVs in Central Texas to raise awareness for those companies and local entrepreneurship in general, in the hopes that additional entrepreneurs will heed the call for greater corporate social responsibility and development of Austin’s business community.

“The Austin area has a rich bedrock of software entrepreneurship, and our partnerships with these organizations have given us the opportunity to witness this firsthand,” said Taras Vervega, executive vice president, business development, SoftServe. “We remain committed to engendering greater awareness for Austin and in driving the development of the business community there for years to come.”

SoftServe will be sponsoring the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas “2009 Austin Invitational Texas Hold ‘em Tournament,” on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at the Driskill Hotel in Austin. The event, which will benefit the Entrepreneur’s Foundation’s Community Involvement Program, will feature a no-limit Texas Hold ‘em tournament, from which the winner will award a local nonprofit organization a minimum of $25,000. The event will also feature a celebrity poker table and jewelry auction.

“Entrepreneurship plays a critical role in our community’s economic growth. The Entrepreneurs Foundation promotes entrepreneurship, disruptive innovation in philanthropy and helps nonprofits realize sources of earned income. Our member companies and their executives are full-on committed to helping make Austin a better place to live, work and play,” said Eugene Sepulveda, CEO, Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas. “Our 2009 Austin Invitational will raise broader awareness for our ongoing efforts and the outstanding work of five nonprofits – Lifeworks, PeopleFund, the Miracle Foundation, Lemonade Day and RISE.”
