Two graduates of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of the Belarusian State University performed successfully  at the World Finals of Google Code Jam 2008. The contest of programmers took place on November 14 in Mountain View, California, USA.

The Google Code Jam competition is open for programmers from all over the world regardless of their education, current status and experience. Top 100 programmers who pass preliminary contests are through to the final competition.

At the World Finals 2008, Belarusian programmers Ivan Metelsky and Alexey Tolstikov won the 8th and the 13th places, respectively.
