BPO centres lure returning Polish migrants

One in five employees hired by the business processes outsourcing sector has returned from work abroad, Puls Biznesu newspaper informs.

A study by the Association of Business Service Leaders in Poland shows that the number of BPO employees who returned from foreign countries increased last year. Taking into consideration the lower costs of living, Polish salaries appear to be more and more attractive.

Lodz-based Infosys and UBS in Krakow noted the largest number of new staff returning home after a long stay abroad. They are reported to be fluent in foreign languages. They also know certain cultural nuances, they understand better customers’ intentions and have the ability to establish professional and business contacts, Puls Biznesu notes.
