Brandenburg Delegation together with the Prime Minister Platzeck visited the Hi-Tech Park

26-28 April, 2010 the Brandenburg Prime Minister Matthias Platzeck made a business trip to the Republic of Belarus. A part of the official program was a visit to the Belarus High-Tech Park. Being one of Germany’s leading outsourcing service providers for the software industry from Gilching near Munich, since 2006 SaM has become a resident of the Hi-Tech Park. The Park itself was established in Minsk in September, 2005. Since that time it has been serving as an IT establishment and technology center of the country. Currently, there are approximately 70 residents participating in the high-tech governmental program. The majority of them are joint ventures and foreign companies. The software development branch is the central focal point of this governmental initiative.

During his visit Platzeck was accompanied by a delegation of entrepreneurs. The aim of the trip was therefore an extension of economic cooperation, particularly in the field of information technologies. For this purpose, several presentations were held by Belarusian companies, including SaM Solutions as a leading Belarusian software company and a reliable outsourcing partner for German and European enterprises. The business meeting was conducted considering the fact that Belarus is already a key location for outsourcing projects of these enterprises. Within the presentation the SaM Solutions company, a pioneer in the realm of IT cooperation with German customers, reported of previous successfully completed projects for German enterprises like Siemens, SAP and Lexware.
