BSS participated in GITEX Technology Week 2008 in Dubai

Private Limited Company „Baltic Software Solutions“, developing advanced business management programs, for the first time represented Lithuania in the third-largest information technology exhibition GITEX Technology Week 2008 (http://www.gitex.com) in Dubai on 19th−23rd of October. 3300 companies from 83 countries participated in exhibition, which was held in the capital of United Arab Emirates. The IT sector news attracted over 130 thousand visitors. BSS, together with representatives of the international grouping CID, represented to the visitors of exhibition developed advanced solutions for financial services, marketing and media areas management.  

„The exhibition was very interesting. We made a lot of contacts both with potential clients, both with the partners. Besides that, we agreed for further meetings. Beside us, just few companies presented financial services and media sectors solutions at the exhibition. Maybe therefore we received plenty of interest. Our company really has solutions for the Middle East companies, because we have gained much experience and knowledge in implementing projects in European markets“, − said general director of BSS Aidas Kavaliauskas, one of exhibition participants.

„Gitex“ was divided into three sectors: business solutions, telecommunications and consumer electronics. The event was organized by the Dubai World Trade Center (http://www.dicec.ae). Not only the world’s well-known companies such as Google, HP, Microsoft, Oracle and others attended the exhibition. Smaller companies also represented the Eastern region. The event had gain 20 percent. higher interest of the UAE government institutions than last year. Such countries as Bahrain, Ireland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Thailand took part in the event for the first time. The exhibition was followed by the conference of technological innovation.

It is planned that the next exhibition will be held on 18th−22nd of October 2009.
