The fair took place on March 18th, 2009. BSS stand with the slogan “Looking for the best!” attracted a large attention of attendance and the organizers. Perhaps the eyes of students were attracted by colorful, courageous and youthful stand design. It was very different from other participants’ stands. Lots of companies decided to save money for the advertising because of global finance crisis. However, the certainty of one of the largest IT enterprise in Kaunas was the fact that even during crisis it is looking for employees.

BSS sales director Mindaugas Venckus, projects director Marius Triukas, projects manager Darius Kirna tried to give as much as possible information about the work and practice at BSS, its projects in Lithuania and abroad, technologies used, work atmosphere, career opportunities. Students who wanted to work or practice at BSS has filled almost 40 forms. It is noticeable that there are more and younger students who are willing to practice at BSS. Most jobseekers are 22 – 23 years old students, with little practical experience.

“Although there are more and more news about redundancy of employees in Lithuania and abroad we are still seeking the best IT specialists. Our main requirement is the willingness. We have many IT professionals in our team. They gained experience in large foreign projects. Most importantly, we think that firstly a new employee should like to learn and improve his knowledge. Currently, our team has 13 employees, combining work and studies. We give employees the possibility to acquire both the practical and theoretical knowledge, internships abroad”, - said BSS General Director A. Kavaliauskas.

Last year 23 various levels employees of administrative and technical staff have joined the company team. Several employees were found at Career fair 2008.There are 82 specialists working at the company at the moment.
