BULPROS participated in the 9th edition of the Webit Festival, which was held in Sofia Tech Park between 25-26 April. The event gathered world’s top enterprise leaders, Europe’s top policymakers and the hottest startups and founders. This year the festival was under the patronage of the President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova. 5000 attendees from more than 80 countries and 250 speakers took part in the innovative congress.

The major topics discussed at the summits of Webit Festival wereSmart Cities, Mobility, Marketing and Innovation, Digital Transformation, Fintech and Blockchain, Big Data and Cloud, Security and Privacy, Health and Wellbeing, IoE and Development.

The CEO and founder of BULPROS, Ivaylo Slavov, presented a keynote in the Digital Transformation track. The subject of the presentation was “The age of disruption” with emphasis on the hot topic  Global Governance. During the presentation Ivaylo made some interesting correlations and examples with 19thcentury industries and today’s Global world, with the following conclusion:

“It’s mean is to create the world with the equitable participation of all people in a formal and societal governance in accordance with principles of justice and individual rights”.

At the end of the first day Intracol, a BULPROS company, won the Webit prestigious “Best Innovation for Commerce and Brands 2017″ award. The product that brought them the prize is called We Shop. The solution is an enterprise grade, multitenant, cloud-based platform, which covers an entire customer journey with a given retailer.
