For the second year in a row, Ivaylo Slavov, CEO of BULPROS, has been named as one of Bulgaria’s Top 10 Managers by the renowned Manager magazine. The prestigious contest “Manager of the Year” takes place for the 11th consecutive year and is organized in partnership with Deloitte Bulgaria. The 10 shortlisted finalist were announced on 22nd October 2018 at the Sofia National Opera and Ballet, and the winner will be officially announced at the award ceremony on 12th November.

 In 2018 he was elected as the Chairman of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association. In 2017, he was recognized by Deloitte and Manager Magazine as one of the top 10 managers in Bulgaria. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.

“Manager of the Year” is an annual business competition aiming to identify and recognize the most successful managers in Bulgaria. The evaluation methodology is especially developed by the consulting company Deloitte, guaranteeing objectivity and impartiality. The assessment process goes through three stages, and the evaluation criteria include both management practices and personal leadership skills of the contestants. In the first stage, the candidates submit their documents and in the second phase, the jury has to shortlist the top 10 nominations based on financial results and good management practices. This year’s top 10 finalists were selected out of 65 candidates, all of whom are senior executives at companies from 24 different industries, most of them from the IT sector. In the third stage, the professional jury evaluates the candidates’ personal and leadership skills.
